Fireworks in Türkiye fought for 12 thousand operational, 10 firefighters died this week

High temperatures and strong wind are hindering the fight against forest fires that affect various countries on the Mediterranean coast.

In Türkiye, the government declared two western provinces of the country as catastrophe zones. According to the minister do Interior, at least 13 people have died since late June.

Ten of these victims were firefighters, who lost their lives last Thursday as they fought the flames. More than 300 houses were destroyed.

Also in Albania, the situation is getting worse. Three people were injured and about two thousand had to leave their homes.

The fires have been going on for over a month, with thousands of operational operations trying to lock the spread of the flames. The causes of the fires continue to be investigated.
