Rome/Ramallah – Italy’s Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has described recognition of a Palestinian state as counterproductive before it was founded. “I am a great supporter of the state of Palestine, but I’m not for recognizing him before it was founded,” Meloni told the newspaper La Repubblica. If something is recognized that does not exist, the problem can appear to be solved, although this is not the case.
