Minister Alexandre de Moraes of the Federal Supreme Court blocked the accounts of Senator Marcos do Val (Somos-ES) after the parliamentarian travels to the United States with a blocked passport. Marcos do Val denies he fled and claims that he traveled to the US to “enjoy the recess” with his daughter, from which he had been away for two and a half years.
According to Estadão, Moraes determined that banks, within 24 hours, block credit, debit and PIX transfer cards by Marcos do Val.
The information about the account embargo and the Pix of Marcos do Val was confirmed by the senator’s allies. By note, the Supreme Court confirmed the block, clarifying that the decision of Minister Alexandre de Moraes does not reach the senator’s daughter.
“The accounts, salaries, Pix and other assets of the senator were blocked due to the breach of precautionary measures,” says the Supreme Note.
On his YouTube channel, the parliamentarian says he entered the US with the diplomatic passport, breaking the order of retention of his passport, issued in August last year, as part of Operation Dial 100 of the Federal Police.
At the time, he was considered suspected of joining a group that promoted attacks on social networks against Federal Police officers who worked on investigations with the Supreme Court.

“I have no reason to escape. I do not respond to any proceedings, I am not denounced for any crime. What Alexandre de Moraes did, to try to suspend my passport … I did not surrender to the Federal Police because it is a violation, a crime against the constitution,” said the parliamentarian.
The parliamentary accounts on X and Instagram are already blocked, but the YouTube channel, where it has over 400,000 followers, is still open.
