Poland is facing serious security challenges.
Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said on Saturday during a meeting with the inhabitants in the Logza Voivodeship that Poland and Europe must be ready for various events in the next two years. According to him, Russia and China will be able to confront the confrontations as early as 2027.
He stressed that he wanted to take full advantage of this period to stabilize the situation in the country and ensure security. This is reported by Warsaw TASR rapporteur according to PAP.
At the same time, Tusk pointed out the serious challenges that Poland is facing in the field of security. In the context of the unpredictable development of the situation, he stated that it brings new events or surprising moments every day. According to him, the maximum responsibility for the country and its surroundings is therefore necessary.
Poland are waiting for key years
The Prime Minister also informed that he spoke with the European Commander of NATO forces General Alexus Grynkewich a few ten hours ago. According to him, the United States estimate that Russia and China will be ready for global confrontation as early as 2027. According to Tusk, this means that the next two years will be crucial for Poland in terms of preparation for possible scenarios.
In this context, he recalled existing threats, such as hybrid aggression on the Polish border, which he perceives as the preparation of Russia for the period after 2027. He also pointed out the pursuit of political destabilization of the country that associates with the activities of some right -wing activists, opposition politicians and statements of the newly elected president.
Donald Tusk warned that divided Poland is the most advantageous scenario for Russia, and publicly promised to focus on stabilizing the situation in the country over the next two years.
