The youngest son of the president (), Luis Claudio Lula, traveled from São Paulo to Brasilia on a flight from the FAB (Brazilian Air Force) alongside the Minister of Finance ,.
On the flight, eight more people were present, linked to the government’s economic team. Haddad returned from commitments in São Paulo, between interview with the press and meetings.
The practice is not irregular and is allowed to any citizen travel on FAB flights, according to the availability of vacancies.
Luis Claudio’s presence is in FAB flight records, public access. The information was reported by the portal Metrópoles and confirmed by the Sheet.
Sought, it stressed that, as provided for in Decree No. 10,267/2020, the remaining vacancies on FAB flights can be occupied by any citizen, provided that there is availability. In the case in question, the vacancy was filled due to the existence of idle seat on the flight, without generating any additional cost to the Public Administration.
This is at least the second time Luis Claudio travels on a FAB flight this year, having traveled in May to Brasilia with the group of Defense Minister José Múcio.
