Corinthians faces Botafogo this Saturday (07/26), at 18:30 (Brasília time), at Nilton Santos Stadium, for the 17th round of the Brazilian Championship, without two important names in the starting lineup. Coach Dorival Júnior does not have midfielder Rodrigo Garro, suspended, and chose to leave in Reserve Memphis Depay, eyeing the classic against Palmeiras for the Brazilian Cup, next Wednesday (07/30).
Garro received the third yellow card in a goalless draw with Cruzeiro in the last round and fulfills automatic suspension. Depay had the draft reduced to avoid physical wear and tear, keeping priority for the confrontation against Palmeiras.
Other players also follow out for physical problems. Left-back Hugo still recovers from surgery to treat inguinal hernia, while midfielder Maycon treats a muscle injury. José Martínez is another suspended who did not travel with the delegation.
