The fans of the series “Interview with the vampire” They were surprised on Saturday (26) after the announcement that, from season 3, the series will change title and will shay “The Vampire Lestat”.
The new name of the series was revealed during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC), which was attended by the cast and showrunners of the series, and promises to honor the romance of the same name written by Anne Rice. The book is the second volume of the book of “Vampirescas” books, and is preceded by “interview with the vampire.”
In addition to the name change, the panel also revealed the first teaser of the production, focused entirely on the character Lestat (Sam Reid), and a debut forecast for the series, which must reach streaming in 2026.
Jacob Anderson, Assad Zaman e Delainey Hayles return to their respective papers; The series will also feature Christopher Heyerdahl, Jennifer Ehle, Damien Atkins, Jeanine Serralles and Ella Ballentine in the cast.
The series is an adaptation of the written by the American author Anna Rice and released in 1976. A film version of the work, with the actors Brad Pitt e Tom Cruisewas released in 1994.
The title is from American television channel AMC. In Brazil, the two seasons already released are in the catalog at Prime Video, where the 1994 film is also available.
