The Portuguese João Félix is very close to being the new reinforcement of Al-Nassr, from Saudi Arabia. The Saudi team will pay about 30 million euros – R $ 196 million – to hire him with Chelsea.
According to the Portuguese newspaper “The Game”, Felix was a request from coach Jorge Jesus, who took command of Al-Nassr for this season. Felix will make a double attack with Cristiano Ronaldo on the team.
Félix’s trip to Al-Nassr ends the dream of Flamengo. José Boto would have tried to hire Portuguese before the Club World Cup, still in May this year.

The negotiation, however, was considered very difficult. Flamengo would like a loan with purchase option, while Chelsea would only accept a definitive sale.
In addition to Flamengo, Felix was also interested in Benfica, a club that revealed him to football. The Portuguese team’s proposal, however, was lower than Al-Nassr to Chelsea, who sought to compensate for the investment.
João Félix was hired by the English team in 2024 for 52 million euros – about $ 340 million. The Londrina team would like to receive 54 million euros to negotiate Félix, but understands that at the moment the market value of Portuguese is below the request.

Flamengo’s more expensive hiring
The top of the list is Samuel Lino, which will cost about 22 million euros (R $ 143 million) plus bonuses by goals. In second position it comes to Alcaraz. Flamengo paid $ 20 million ($ 110.6 million) in 2024. The top-3 closes the midfielder Gerson, who arrived from Olympique Marseille for $ 82 million.
