The Israeli army has announced in the early hours of this Sunday a pause in military activity in three areas of Gaza, shortly after stating that “several measures to relieve the humanitarian crisis” had been adopted in the strip. The pause will be applied daily in Al Mawasi, deir to Balah and Ciudad de Gaza, from 9.00 (Spanish peninsular time) to 19.00 until new notice, as reported by the army in a shared statement on social networks.
The military argue that “security routes” have been established, which will be in operation from 5.00 to 22.00 to allow the safe step of the UN convoys and humanitarian aid organizations that deliver and distribute food and medicines to the population.
