Maduro: USA have authorized the Chevron oil return to Venezuela

Nicolás Maduro announced that the USA officially authorized the Return of Operations of the American oil Chevron in Venezuelan territory. The information, however, has not yet received confirmation from the White House.

The decision represents a possible significant change in US politics in relation to Venezuela. During the previous government, licenses for Chevron’s performance in the South American country were not renewed, as part of a strategy for reduce the financing of the Venezuelan regime.
