Deputy Governor Mailza Assis was one of Contilnet’s interviewees during the live broadcast of Expoacre 2025 on Saturday (26).
In conversation with journalist Everton Damasceno, Mailza spoke about the direction of state succession and the possibility of disputing the government of Acre in 2026. One of the topics addressed was the formation of the future majority plate and the eventual presence of the mayor of Rio Branco, Tião Bocalom (PL), as his partner in the dispute.

The possibility had already been mentioned by Governor Gladson Cameli in an interview with Contilnet last week.
For Mailza, an alliance with nozzle would be a natural choice, considering the current arc of alliances that supports the ruling base.
“It would be the most correct to be all together, working for the same project we built in 2020 and 2022. I am from Progressives, Mayor Bocalom is from PL, and we have other partnerships with various parties. I think we need to think about the future of our state. At this time, the focus is on working and respecting their space and time in politics,” he said.
The deputy governor also commented on the possibility of disputing the government in 2026, reinforcing that this would be a natural unfolding, especially in the face of the expected removal of Governor Gladson Cameli in April next year.
“There is a recognition for the work I have been doing. My thinking is to follow firm, working. I am ready, yes,” he said.
