According to rescuers, there may be extremely dangerous conditions in the area. This is reported by the Warsaw Newsletter TASR, according to Topr information.
The warning is related to the highest, third degree of meteorological warning issued by the Institute of Meteorology and Water Management (IMGW) for the Tatras. In the area, intensive rain with rainfall from 90 to 110 liters per square meter is expected, up to 120 liters may fall locally. The rainfall will be accompanied by storms and wind impacts up to 80 kilometers per hour.
“In such conditions, waiting for help in the event of an accident can be much longer,” the rescuers from Topr warned and asking the public to share alerts. They point out that even a slight deterioration of the weather can significantly make it difficult or impossible for rescue operations.
