A man will have stabbed several people this Saturday in a supermarket in the US state of Michingan.
Several people were stabbed at a Walmart in Traverses City in the US state of Michigan. A suspect is in custody, authorities said this Saturday.
Michigan state police have indicated that the local sheriff’s office is investigating the incident. The police force asked the population to avoid the area as investigations take place.
A Walmart chain spokesman Joe Pennington said by email that the company is “collaborating with the police” and that, for now, refers all issues to the authorities.
Traverse City is about 410 kilometers northwest of Detroit.
