Dead Sea
The Dead Sea is not a sea. In fact, it is a lake, salty and closed.
Located in the Middle East, between Israel, the West Bank and Jordan. Although the name suggests, the Dead Sea is not sea.

Water enters this lake only through rain and rivers; and only comes out when it evaporates.

As that region has such a hot climate and there is no “flow” of water except for evaporation, the salts accumulate in the water.
