On Saturday night (26), a homicide was registered in rural Cruzeiro do Sul, more precisely in the region of extension 13, near BR-364. The occurrence mobilized teams from the Military Police, who were at the scene to conduct the first surveys.
The victim, of identity not yet officially confirmed, would be a young man popularly known as “Patoá”. According to preliminary information passed on by residents of the area, the boy would have been brutally beaten, although the circumstances of the crime have not yet been clarified.

The body was removed by a team from the Forensic Medical Institute (IML) and sent to the city headquarters for expert proceedings. The Civil Police will be responsible for investigating the case.
So far, there are no identified suspects, and the motivation of the crime is unknown. Authorities await the advance of the findings to clarify the details of the murder.
