The tidal rains in the northeast of Romania were caused by floods on Monday night and have already requested at least one victim, the local officials report. According to AP and AGERPRES reports, TASR reports this.
The most affected are the counties of Neamt and Suceava, where rescue helicopters and firefighters save residents from flooded houses. The authorities report that 890 people were evacuated in the NEAMT county.
The authorities mobilized six counties, which sent, for example, inflatable boats, pumps, minibuses and other equipment necessary for rescue and evacuation operations, writes Agerpres.
The emergency department announced that the rescuers found the body of a 66-year-old man in a river in the town of Neagra. The local authorities published images of the stormy murky water carried out of vehicles and debris and damaged houses.
