According to the US President, Iran sends “unpleasant signals”. Efforts to restore a nuclear program will have a hard response.
US President Donald Trump warned Iran on Monday against further bombing by the United States if he attempts to restore his nuclear program. According to Reuters, TASR reports this.
According to Trump, Iran sends “unpleasant signals” and any effort to restore the Iranian nuclear program will encounter the harsh reaction of the United States.
“We have destroyed their nuclear capabilities. They can start again. If they do it, we will destroy them faster than you could wave it with your hand,” said US President during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in his golf resort in Turnberry, Scotland.
The US attacked 22 June on three Iranian nuclear devices – Fordó, Isfahan and Nanz. A one -time bombing was involved within a 12 -day war between Israel and Iran. According to Washington, these strikes were returned by the Iranian nuclear program a few years back. Trump claims that the devices have been completely destroyed.
However, in mid -July, NBC News, referring to former and current US government officials, informed that only one of the three affected sites were destroyed – the Uranus enrichment facility. The other two, Isfahan and Nanz, remained, according to the sources familiar, mostly undamaged and potentially able to restore operation within a few months.
