Even with exchanges of presidential management and ministries, suspicions on irregularities in works and actions of the agency did not cease.
Only one of these operations, called Route BR-090, had eight phases triggered from 2019 to 2023. The investigation raised suspicions about deviations in contracts of more than $ 2 billion in Minas Gerais.
Another operation was the closed circle of 2020, centered in the Federal District. The case involved the suspicion of deviation even in hiring in the area of information technology and resulted in the blockade of $ 40 million of the investigated.
At the time, there was search and seizure at the addresses of the current Secretary of Works of the Government Ibaneis Rocha (MDB), Valter Casimiro, who directed Dnit in Dilma and Temer management.
He was not the target of the Federal complaint in this case. Actions related to this process had a complaint submitted to the Federal Court in March this year.

During the government of (PL), the DNIT was linked to the Ministry of Infrastructure, a portfolio commanded by, at the time pointed out as a technical name and would later become governor of São Paulo by Republicans.
In 2021, then -road director Marcelo Almeida Pinheiro Chagas was removed from office on suspicion of favoring a company in Goiás. He was then dismissed. The report could not locate Chagas.

The PF says it suspects that the organization that made the deviations in Dnit was led by Marcello, who worked in collusion with entrepreneurs. One of these entrepreneurs would be Breno Barbosa Chaves Pinto, according to alcohubre alternate.
Breno, says PF, “used its proximity to the senator to, on the pretext of influencing in acts of public agent, obtain improper advantages.”
Financial intelligence reports point out that a Breno company made withdrawals in kind of R $ 2.3 million, which investigators consider “a strong indication of the final disposal of resources and active washing”.
After the police action, Alcolumbre stated in a statement that “it has no relationship with the companies mentioned in the operation” or with the business performance of its second alternate.
“Alcolumbre reiterates its respect for institutions and understands that all involved must provide due clarifications to the court, respecting due process.”
Also sought, Breno said he has now had access to the inquiry and is “becoming aware of the issues mentioned to manifest himself.” The report was unable to locate Marcello or its defense.
In a statement, the DNIT stated that “it is strongly committed to maintaining high standards of integrity and constantly acts to prevent, remedy and remedy cases of fraud and corruption.”
“In many cases, DNIT itself detects indications of irregularities and promptly forwards these situations to the competent bodies, such as CGU, (Federal Court of Audit) and Public Prosecution Service, as was the case of the recent operation called ‘Route 156’,” the agency says.
The agency also states that the servers themselves can make this type of complaint and that, although the agency has limited competences for direct calculation, “collaborates closely with internal and external control to ensure the effectiveness of investigations.”
