PORTUGUESE FIGHT FOR CHILDREN MAKING IN PERU: CHILDREN HAVED INCREE TWO MONTHS

The Portuguese Ana Gaivão has been fighting for her children in Peru and accuses her ex-husband of international kidnapping. Peruvian justice has already ordered the two children to be handed over to the mother, but the father has refused to comply with the Lima Court’s ruling. For almost two months the children have been in part uncertain.

The case began when, in default of his mother, the couple’s two children, then two and four years old, were taken from Madrid, where they lived with their parents already separated, to Lima, Peru. Since then, . According to the mother, children’s behaviors change depending on those who ask them the questions, which he considers to be a case of parental alienation and psychological violence.

On June 9, Ana received a favorable decision from the Peruvian justice, who decreed the immediate delivery of the children to the mother. Although two dates have already been marked to carry out the decision, the father refused to comply with the court order. A new attempt is now scheduled for next Thursday.

The father justified in court the non -delivery of children with accusations that Ana suffers from deep depression and bipolarity, stating that she has no ability to take care of her children. However, according to psychological and psychiatric expertise performed within the process, no evidence of any disturbance that compromises the discernment or parental capacity of Ana Gaivão was found.

With a master’s degree in public policies from Harvard University, Ana is a sub -director of one of Europe’s largest employment platforms and is currently on -duele leave. The two children have double nationality, Portuguese and Peruvian, through their father. Ana promises not to give up, even without knowing, 47 days ago, where the children are.
