The rise of temperatures is due to the intensification of an anticyclone over the Azores. The districts of Castelo Branco, Santarém, Setúbal, Évora and Beja are among the most affected, with maximums planned to surround the 40 degrees.
With extreme heat, many municipalities of the North, Center and Algarve will be at maximum fire.
