Initial period of 50 days was reduced to “10 to 12 days” after Russia maintained military offensive against Ukrainian cities

The President of the United States, (Republican Party), reduced the deadline established in the ultimatum made to the Russian leader (independent, left), to establish a truce in the war against Ukraine on Monday (28.Jul.2025). The statement was made during a meeting with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer in Scotland, in which Trump announced that the deadline went from 50 to “10 to 12 days”.

The decision was made after the continuity of Russian attacks on Ukrainian territory, despite conversations between Trump and Putin.

“I am disappointed with President Putin, very disappointed with him. So we will have to review and I will reduce these 50 days I gave to a smaller number”Trump told journalists in Scotland.

The US President had settled, earlier this month, ended the hostilities, threatening to apply on Russian products. The reduction of the deadline of the ultimatum happens because Moscow maintained his military offensive, performing air attacks against Ukrainian cities, and ignoring Washington’s demands.

“I talked to him a lot about completing this subject. And I always turn off the phone saying, well, that was a good conversation. And then missiles are released in Kiev or some other city, and I keep thinking, ‘strange’”said Trump. The US President described Putin as a “Durão Cara” what “Fool many people” and previous presidents. “After this happens 3 or 4 times, you realize that the conversation means nothing”he added.
