UN Technology boss: Worldwide approach to regulate AI necessary

In view of the planned relaxation of the US specifications for artificial intelligence (AI), UN technology boss Doreen Bogdan-Martin has called for a uniform approach to dealing with AI. It is urgently needed to “set the right framework with a worldwide coordination,” said the head of the International Telecommunications Union (ITU), the UN sub-organization for technology topics, in an interview with the AFP news agency.
