In speech alongside British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, Trump also announced that “let’s establish a fare for the rest of the world, and that’s what they will have to pay.” The base rate, according to him, will be in the range of 15% to 20%.

Trump also stated that he will still decide the tariffs on steel and aluminum, but stressed that “we will make our own steel and our own aluminum in the US.”
