One person suffered injuries in Monday (28. 7). As the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue (HaZZ) of the Church in Košice informs on the social network, A passenger car walked out of the way and hit the wall of a petrol station building.
“The accident happened on the road between Košice-Šaca district and Haniska, at US Steel Košice. After the arrival of the HaZZ unit, the injured person was outside the vehicle in the care of the rescuers. Members helped to load it into an ambulance that took her to the hospital”Said firefighters, saying that the vehicle was secured, among other things, against fire and leakage of operating fluids. The gas station building was preventively disconnected from the electric current.
Since the crashed vehicle was in close proximity to the tank stand and damaged wiring, Firefighters stayed in place until the towing service arrives.
