The attorney general of the Union, signed on Monday (28) a decree to give more to the members of the body for the defense of the interests of the Union, after criticism received by the amount of payments.

The ordinance will be published in the Federal Official Gazette on Tuesday (29).

Only in January, AGU members received R $ 1.68 billion in fees – the Messiah himself, who is a prosecutor of the National Treasury, received R $ 193,200 that month. Some received up to R $ 547 thousand in a single month last year as succession fees, much higher than the ceiling of the public service, today at R $ 46,366.19 per month. This is due to the payment of retroactive at once.

The text signed on Monday expands the transparency of information on the succumbent fees received by federal public lawyers who make up the legal careers of AGU, detailing amounts paid individually and with monthly periodicity.

Data can be consulted on an electronic panel hosted on the AGU website. It will be possible to know how much each AGU received, whether the money was remuneration or indemnity, to which period it refers and which legal basis is based on payment.

Created in 2016, the amounts are paid to the executive’s legal area for acting in defending the interests of the Union. They benefit AGU lawyers and prosecutors of the Federal Attorney General’s Office), PGFN (Attorney General of the National Treasury) and the Central Bank.

The values are passed on by a private entity, the CCHA (Board of Curator of Advocacy Fees), which must pass on the information with “regular period and not exceeding one month after payment.”

“With the new panel, the company may know the origin of each penny paid as succession fees and may verify that we fully respect the remuneration ceiling fixed to the Federal Public Administration,” says Messias.

“The information will be provided in an updated, individualized manner, and with the complete discrimination of each money paid.”

The panel will have information about the revenue collected for the Union coffers through the judicial and administrative action of the organs that make up the institution, judicial success rates and other legal parts of an advisory nature, among other things.

The implementation of the new electronic panel should be completed within 60 days and will be made by the Secretariat of Strategic Management of the General Secretariat of Consulting AGU.
