From August 1, Martina Flašíková, Director General of Slovak Television and Radio (TVR), will temporarily take over the management of Slovak Radio (SRo) from August 1. The previous temporarily authorized director of Radio Vincent Štofaník ends in this position as of 31 July. It was announced by the stations.
The head of the telephony justified the change with a positive experience in a similar step on the television part, as well as the opportunity to get to know the functioning of the organization from the inside and identify the space for changes. “I believe that even in the case of radio, this step will allow me to more accurately set the strategic direction and management system that will suit the quarterly as a whole,” said Flašíková.
She added that The change is part of the systematic revision of the top management and preparations for a new period of development of public service media.
