Sweet, juicy and embedded with rum. The cherries in alcohol are not only grinding for adults, but also a great way to keep the taste of summer for winter months. You can use them in candy, cups, but also as an unusual original gift.

It is short and intense. When they ripen, they need to be processed quickly: a part of it is fresh, part ends up in the cakes and the compote. What about the rest? A simple solution: load them in rum. Not only are they well preserved, but they will gain unusual taste, sweetness and warmth, which is suitable not only for winter desserts, but also for home griotka. The result is something very tasty with a minimum of work and maximum taste.

Recipe for cherries in rum

Procedure::

1. Fruit preparation: Wash the cherries, dry and specify to taste. Remember that the fruit with a stone will be firmer and release less juice.

2. Sterilization of glasses: Rinse two larger glasses with boiling water or heat in the oven at 100 ° C for a few minutes.

3. Layer: Cherry in clean glasses, sprinkle each layer with two tablespoons of sugar. Continue until the glass is full of about 2 cm below the edge.

4. Pouring: Pour the rum so that all cherries are completely submerged. Close the glasses firmly.

5. Ripening: Shake the first week every day to melt the sugar. Then just keep maturing for at least a month in a cold, dark place.
