The Institute of Consumer Protection and Protection (Procon/AC) has charged, on Sunday (27), the company responsible for the operation of the frontstage sector of the Gusttavo Lima show at Expoacre 2025, after receiving complaints from consumers dissatisfied with the services provided. The inspection took place at the Wildy Viana Exhibition Park in Rio Branco, during the first night of the Agricultural Fair.

According to Procon, the main complaints were recorded in the paid sectors of the arena, especially in the front nejo, space prime and cabins. Consumers reported flaws such as advertised drinks that were not available, a structure delivered lower than previously disclosed and lack of clear signaling, which made public orientation difficult on the site.
The operation is part of the agency’s permanent inspection plan during the event. Based on complaints received directly at the show space, the inspection team has drawn up two infraction notices for breach of supply and abusive practice, in disagreement with Articles 6, item III; 20; and 30 of the Consumer Protection Code (CDC).
The performance was coordinated by the tax agent Alcinaides Júnior, who highlighted the immediate action of the team in the light of the complaints received. “The team acted immediately in the face of complaints received in their own space by consumers who felt injured. We remember that the role of Procon is to ensure that the consumer has access to what was offered clearly, fair and safe,” he said.
The frontstage sector was bid by Acisa (Commercial, Industrial, Service and Agricultural Association of Acre), but the execution was in charge of a private company, with no direct bond with the State Government. Procon stresses that it will continue with the inspection during the other days of the Expoacre, guiding consumers and assessing possible abuses.
Those responsible for the assessed sectors are entitled to broad defense and may present justifications in the administrative process opened by the agency. Meanwhile, Procon guides the public to formally record any other irregularities through official channels.
