Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar officially reprimanded Ambassador Amsterdam on Tuesday. He responded to Dutch criticism of Israel for the treatment of Palestinians and a ban on joining the Netherlands for two Israeli ministers. According to Reuters report, TASR reports this.

Saar stated in the post on the X platform that the Dutch government “decided to turn a long -term friendship with Israel into open hostility towards him, just in his difficult period, probably for political interests”.

Dutch measures against ministers

On Monday night, the Dutch government announced that it would summon an Israeli ambassador to the Netherlands to condemn the “unbearable and unheated” situation in the Gaza Strip. At the same time, it banned the far right -wing Israeli Minister Becalel Smotrič and Itamar Ben Gvir’s entry into the country, writes AFP. She accused them of repeated incitement to violence against the Palestinians.

According to Politico, the Dutch Foreign Minister Caspar Veldkamp announced on Monday in a letter of parliament that both ministers would be described as “unwanted foreigners in the Schengen system”.
