ANP authorizes Bolivian gas imports by Delta

Trader can buy up to 3.5 million m³ per day; Authorization is valid for 2 years

The (National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels) authorized this Thursday (29.Jul.2025) that it imports up to 3.5 million m³ of Bolivia’s natural gas per day.

The authorization, valid for 2 years from the date of publication in the DOU (Official Gazette of the Union)It requires the company to present purchase and sale contracts to the agency and send detailed monthly reports on import operations. Read the decision (PDF – 123 KB).

The input will be transported by pipeline and delivered in the city of Corumbá, Mato Grosso do Sul. The market includes free consumers, distributors and thermoelectric plants.

Delta must formally communicate any registration change, address or the structure of the import activity. The company may be punished and even have the authorization revoked in case of non -compliance.
