A simple way to multiply hydrangea in the summer
Hydrangeas can be one of the most beautiful garden decorations. Finally, lush blooming hydrangeas are the dream of many gardeners. Lush green leaves, huge flowers in various colors from white, through pink and blue to green, in the summer gardens, balconies and terraces decorate. When the bushes are a lot and they bloom abundantly, they look phenomenal. Already in early spring there are various varieties of flowers, which we decorate balconies and terraces. Hydress seedlings can be obtained completely free, so in a year we will have a garden full of blooming bushes. How to breed hydrangeas? Of course, it is best to do it in the summer, during the intensive growth of these beautiful flowers. There is a simple one, just follow a few important rules, and the cuttings will quickly reflect and will take flowers for the next season. Remember that in the summer you can successfully reproduce:
- garden hydrangea (Hydrangea macrophylla),
- bouquet hydrangea (hydrangea paniculata),
- woody hydrangea (Hydrangea arborescens).
How to get hydrangea seedlings?
It will allow us to get healthy cuttings to our garden. How to do it in the summer? Cut a few branches of hydrangea. For reproduction, choose shoots without flowers, which have at least 4 knots, i.e. points from which the leaves grow. Cut below the lowest node. Remove the lower leaves. Immerse the branch in the humble and place it in a pot with the ground, knead the soil around and water well. Cover the plastic bag prepared in this way. In this way you will keep high humidity inside. Check if the bag does not touch the leaves. This can cause them to rot. Leave the seedlings for about 6 weeks. Water them regularly. Once the seedlings are rooted, they can be transplanted to the soil. In the spring, young bushes are additionally eaten. Use conditioners and fertilizers.
