At the beginning we make two vertical lines on the upper lip, leading them to the highest points on the curler’s curve. Then we combine them to create the shape of the letter “V”. We drag the line further, going a bit beyond the natural contour. Thanks to this, the top of the mouth will be optically larger.
In the next step we get to the lower lip. We outline it, also going out a bit beyond the contour. Then gently rub the line with your finger to get a natural effect. Finally, we paint lips with lip gloss, which reflects light and guarantees the effect of natural enlargement.
With this painting method, remember not to “leave” too much beyond the contour of the mouth and well flake the line with your finger or brush. Otherwise, the outline will look caricatured and instead of subtle enlargement we will gain the effect of artificiality.
In contouring, therefore, the most important is moderation and precise painting. More does not mean better, especially when it comes to make up mouth.
