Fresh water reserves of the earth are disappearing at an alarming pace

If you are currently looking out of the window and see which quantities fall from the sky, it may seem unbelievable, to what result researchers have come after two decades of satellite observation – and yet the data obtained hardly allowed any other conclusion: the continents of the earth have lost fresh water since 2002.
