Horror in Malá Fatra: Czech tourist (15) had an epileptic seizure!

Mountain rescuers from Malá Fatra helped on Tuesday (29 July) afternoon 15-year-old Czech tourist, who had an epileptic seizure during the hike of the new hole. This was reported by the Mountain Rescue Service (HZS) on its website.

Added that The boy suddenly began to feel nausea associated with strong muscle cramps and disorientation. Thanks to the provision of GPS coordinates from the map, the location of the patient was significantly facilitated. Two professional mountain rescuers and one contractual volunteer rescuer HZS set off to help him land from the Regional Center Malá Fatra.

“After arriving at the site of the young tourist, they examined, treated, gave him medical treatment and transported on the stretcher to Koliba Podžiar. Subsequently, he was transferred to Štefanová, where he was handed over to the care of the summoned emergency medical crew,” approached the intervention of the fire brigade.
