“Mysterious cachaça”: 1300 liters are seized by the government in Paraná

The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock (MAPA) seized 1,368 liters of irregular alcohol, including cachaça, cocktails and handcrafted liqueurs in Morretes, Paraná. The inspection identified the production and clandestine trade in tourist area. The operation took place between July 22 and 24.

The products were identified being, especially in free markets. To the goods did not have the known originwere without invoice and labeling outside the standards required by the law. Some reused bottles, without any hygiene control, were also found for sale.

Between the two establishments. One of the places was clandestine, was unregistered on the map, and under precarious hygiene and structure.

The other filed establishment was interdicted even being registered. There were sanitary failures on site and use of inadequate packaging. In both cases, those responsible were charged and will respond to appropriate measures.

OS in an environmentally appropriate way. The action was conducted by the Vegetable Products Inspection Service (Sipov/PR), with the support of the City Hall.
