WASHINGTON (Reuters)-United States Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent said on Tuesday that commercial negotiations between the US and China were “comprehensive, robust and highly satisfactory,” but the future of the Tiktok short video application and the Taiwan authorities movement were not discussed.
After two days of bilateral conversations between the world’s two largest economies in Stockholm, Bessent also told CNBC in an interview that US officials asked China to change their economy to a consumer-based model instead of manufacturing.
