Senators warn that US will tax countries that negotiate with Russia

At a press conference on Wednesday (30), senators who are in the United States to negotiate the tariff imposed by Donald Trump warned that “another crisis” can reach Brazil, referring to sanctions for countries negotiating with Russia.

“We are also taking a message to Brazil here: there is another worse crisis that can reach Brazil in the next 90 days. They will create automatic sanctions for all countries that negotiate with Russia,” said Senator Carlos Viana (Somos-MG).

“It will be an American law, it will not be a decision, so by the president of the United States, it will be from the US Congress,” he added.
