A video that went viral on social networks on Wednesday (30) shows the exact moment when a strong wave hits the edge of Rio de Janeiro so hard that it even pushes a bus parked to the side. The impressive images caught the attention of netizens for the violence of water and the risk involved.

The recording was made by a resident who was near the site and shows the sea advancing beyond the expected, surpassing the containment wall – a structure that separates the avenue from the sand strip – and invading the track. In a matter of seconds, the wave force pushes the heavy vehicle, which was stopped on the street.
There is still no information about injuries, but the case rekindles the warning to the risks of hangover and tidal tides, especially on days of climate instability. Civil Defense recommends that drivers avoid parking near the waterfront during agitated sea periods.
