Agents of the National Police of Colombia have arrested a 53 -year -old Spanish man – Javier FM, aka El Choki– Who was sought for almost a decade to abuse, allegedly ,. The fugitive, which is recorded three judicial claims issued by the Provincial Court of Malaga, had been resolving in a sailboat in the Manga Yacht Club, in the Colombian city of Cartagena. The arrested has been made available to the Colombian Prosecutor’s Office to initiate an extradition process to Spain, as published by Major General Carlos Fernando Tirana, head of the police in that country, on their social networks. The investigation has been in charge of the Spanish National Police with the collaboration of Interpol.
The events date back to 2016. The first case occurred when the fugitive allegedly sexually abused a girl under 13. It happened while the victim, who was intimate of her daughters, was sleeping. The second episode took place in a campsite in the city of Marbella. There, the man approached the girl in the back, immobilized her against a structure of the enclosure – “thus annulling her defense capacity,” according to a statement issued by the National Police – and took the opportunity to perform touching in its intimate parts. The third case was similar: he also groped his genitals, sitting on top of her. It is believed that it could be behind a fourth case, although at the moment the researchers cannot confirm it, according to sources in the case.
After the complaints of the relatives, in the year 2020 the Judicial Authority of Malaga launched the first claim in his name so that the police arrested him. Before it could happen, where researchers have accredited that it resided for a while. Later, the agents of the National Police fugitive group got information that placed the fugitive near Colombia and transferred the data to the authorities of that country. To locate it, the Colombian agents studied behavior patterns over two months, achieving monitoring their habits and purchases, which allowed “identifying bank accounts used in commercial establishments” and this allowed to locate the sailboat in which he spent the night, which he was docked in the Manga Nautical Club, an exclusive enclosure in the city of Cartagena.
