Aurora Maria is discharged after nearly 40 days in hospital in Belo Horizonte

After more than a month of hospitalization in Belo Horizonte, the small Aurora Maria, who suffered serious burns in the early days of life, was discharged hospital. The news was shared by the father, Marcos Oliveira, on social networks this Thursday (31).

“We have wonderful news to share: Aurora was discharged, thank God!” He wrote, celebrating his daughter’s recovery.

Although he left the hospital, Aurora will continue in Belo Horizonte to continue the treatment.

Two fingers, one of each foot, are still in the process of healing and require daily medical care to avoid the need for a new surgery. The next medical evaluation is scheduled for Tuesday (5).

In another publication, Marcos thanked his daughter’s recovery. “We thank God for all the prayers and the affection of all who supported us. May the joy of my daughter’s recovery bring hope and peace to our hearts. Another step in the lives of our princess Aurora Maria,” he said in text.

The baby, who suffered 2nd and 3rd degrees burns, while bathing at the Southern Cruise Maternity and arrived at the Minas Gerais Health Unit in serious condition. During hospitalization even faced a cardiac arrest that lasted 39 minutes. Despite the critical picture, Aurora surpassed the most delicate phase of treatment.
