Biofuel explosion leaves at least three dead in the US

An explosion at the Horizon Biofuels plant in the state of Nebraska, USA, left three dead on Tuesday (29), among the victims are two smaller and one local employee.

Drone images of eyewitness showed firefighters spraying water in the building after the incident.

The explosion occurred in the plant tower, which produces pellets, small solid biofuel cylinders, and animal beds.

According to local media, two girls, who are believed to be under 12, were at the factory waiting for an employee to finish work when the explosion occurred.

On Wednesday (30), emergency teams still worked to contain the fire. The cause of the explosion is being investigated.
