Fluminense beat Internacional 2-1 on the night of Wednesday (30), in the round of 16 of the Brazilian Cup.
Everaldo, marked twice and secured the victory of Tricolor das Laranjeiras in Porto Alegre. Carbonaro discounted for the principals in Beira-Rio.
The teams face each other again in a week, on August 6, in Maracanã. As they won the trip, Fluminense may even lose by a goal difference that still guarantees a place in the quarterfinals of the Brazilian Cup.
Before that, the teams will have commitments in the Brazilian Championship. On Saturday (2), Fluminense receives Grêmio, while Internacional faces Sao Paulo on Sunday.
How was the game?
