The 27-year-old landed in Rio de Janeiro last Wednesday and will be presented to the fans in Maracanã before today’s game. He will still undergo medical examinations and sign a contract with the club. As the name was not published in the CBF Daily Newsletter (IDB) until the deadline, Carrascal is ineligible for the games of this phase.
According to the CBF regulation, an athlete can only act at a certain phase of the Brazilian Cup if he is registered before the club’s participation in this stage. Thus, executional can only play from the Wednesdays if Flamengo qualifies.
