On Thursday, firefighters intervened in one of the apartments on Mierova Street in Rožňava, where the nest of the hornets came. The social network informs the Regional Directorate of the Fire and Rescue Corps (HaZZ) in Košice, saying that the immobile resident of the apartment was at risk.
The nest came to the apartment on the sixth floor through a leaking ventilation opening. “Since the arrival of the beekeeper and the disinsection company could not be secured in time, four firefighters using height technology carried out a safe capture of hornets, which were subsequently released into the wild outside the urban area of the city”Said firefighters. After the intervention, they also secured and sealed the hole through which the hornets got into the apartment.
