One of the most interesting Korean proposals is Maesil-cha, i.e. tea from fermented Japanese plums (Maesil). Little known in Poland, but is gaining popularity among people looking for natural ways to improve health and well -being.
Maesil-Cha is a traditional drink prepared from green Japanese plums, which first fermented in sugar or honey, and then floods with hot or cold water. The fermentation process lasts up to several months and allows the extraction of valuable bioactive ingredients from fruits. Ready syrup (maesil-cheong) can be stored for many months and used to prepare a cold or warm drink. Although the preparation of Maesil-Cheong requires patience, the effect is impressed-the drink has an intense, slightly sweet and sour taste and a refreshing aroma, which works perfectly both in summer and winter.
