Six issued a note criticizing by the government to Brazilian products and accusing the republican of collusion with “scammers” and the former president and son 03, “disagreeing with the defeat in the 2022 presidential election”.
The letter is signed by CUT (Single Workers’ Central), Força Sindical, UGT (General Workers’ Union), CTB (Brazilian Workers Center), NCST (New Workers’ Union Center) and CSB (Central of Brazilian Unions).
In the text, the unions speak of “imperialist maneuver against Brazilian institutions”, by commenting on the sanctions imposed against the minister, (Supreme Court).
“The Supreme Court has been acting firmly and according to the Constitution to protect the population from digital crimes and the abusive use of social networks – which are restricted to the national territory,” they say.
“What is underway is an attempt to impose cultural domination by contrast to what the note says, it is the US government that wants to interfere with our politics, our society and our economy.”
“Even more serious is the collusion between Trump and scammers, in an attempt to deliver from justice those who underlined our democracy and, in a shocking way, planned the murders of President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva, Vice Geraldo Alckmin and also Minister Alexandre de Moraes,” they continue.
“Traitors of the homeland, Jair Bolsonaro and his son Eduardo, disagreeing with the defeat in the presidential election, continues to plot the interests of the Brazilian people and articulate an authoritarian agenda that aims only at self -preservation and submissive alignment to the US.”
For the centrals, the US government offensive represents a climb of unilateral attacks on Brazilian sovereignty. “Given this threat, it is urgent that the National Congress and organized civil society unite in a broad national concertation in defense of democracy, sovereignty and the rule of law.”
