Brazilian women gained support from AFL-CIO, the largest federation of unions NOS, to speak out against the tariff imposed by the Donlad Trump government.
Together with the American Central, the Brazilian Força Sindical, UGT (General Workers’ Union), CUT (Single Workers Center), CSB (Central of Brazilian Unions), NCST (Nova Central), Intersindical, Public (Central Server) and Conlutas sign a track, which will be placed in front of the US Consulate on Friday (1st), with sayings against the US President.
The track contains the phrase: “Brazilian and American workers against Trump in defense of jobs and rights.” There is also an English version.
With the track signed by AFL-RIO, the intention of unionists is to demonstrate that US workers do not compact the Trump government’s tariff policy and fear the discharge of unemployment.
The protest should start from 10am in front of the Consulate building, in the Santo Amaro region, south of the capital. There will also be demonstrations in other cities.
On the 18th, the centrals had already organized a demonstration in the region of March 25, given the statements of, and the report in Brazil. However, Brazilians still did not have the support of American trade unionists.
