State Representative Beth Sahão (PT) questioned the management (Republicans), in a letter sent on Thursday (31), about the lack of support for the 4th LGBTIQA+State State Conference, which will be held between 1 and 3 August in the state capital.
The deputy states that the participation of delegates, elected to represent their respective cities, is threatened. In the letter, SAHÃO asks Tarcisio management to guarantee the transportation and accommodation of these representatives during the event in the capital.

Sahão says that the government did not commit to guarantee the participation of São Paulo delegates at the National Conference, scheduled for October in Brasilia. “Without an effective state commitment to the displacement, the representation of São Paulo, composed by the largest delegation of the federal event, is impaired,” says the deputy.
Another complaint made by the parliamentarian is that the conference will be open only to the elected delegates. “This limits the broad participation of social movements, as well as the contribution of public agencies that historically contribute to the defense of the rights of sexual and gender diversity, such as research centers, universities.”
To the panel the Secretariat of Justice and Citizenship (SJC), responsible for the cost of the site, infrastructure and food during the official times of the event, says that personal expenses are the sole responsibility of the participants.
Regarding the delimitation of participants, the folder says that access to the spaces of the conference will be made according to the capacity provided for in the Fire Department (AVCB) inspection report
“Regarding the letter, the SJC analyzes the requests made to give the appropriate clarifications,” says the secretary.
