The seizure occurred in the municipality of Brasiléia, in the interior of Acre, during an operation in a clandestine port known for facilitating the irregular flow of goods and the crossing of people to escape the official surveillance.

During the approach, the agents identified a truck loaded with the meat parked on site. The driver was arrested in the act and, along with the vehicle and the cargo, sent to the Federal Police Station in Epitaciolândia for legal proceedings.

The operation is part of the actions to combat transionic crimes, common practice in the region of the border between Brazil and Bolivia, where improvised ports are used for illegal transportation of products, dribbling sanitary and tax rules.
