The Judicial Police (PJ) has detained a 29 -year -old foreign citizen suspected of murdering and beheaded another 34 -year -old foreigner man in the Rossio area in a crime that shocked the capital this week.

Initially, the man claimed nothing to do with the crime, but eventually confessed to him during the interrogation of the PJ.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of crimes of qualified homicide, desecration of corpse and possession of a banned weapon. After the detention, the first judicial interrogation was present for the application of coercion measures.
